Hexagone MMA set up at the Zenith de Toulouse on Friday, September 25, 2026, with a vacant belt in the main event and a late replacement. Toulouse's David Sipra, called up after Damien Lapilus pulled out, does not last a round against Moldova's Nicolae Bivol, the new lightweight champion. He is not the only local to fall.
Who won the Hexagone MMA 47 main event?
Nicolae Bivol wins by first-round TKO against David Sipra, and takes the vacant lightweight title. The Moldovan hurts Sipra on the feet from the opening exchanges, then finishes him against the fence with a huge elbow followed by a combination.

Sipra was not meant to be fighting at this level: scheduled in the co-main event against Azevedo Junior, he had taken the place of Lapilus, who withdrew citing "medical complications related to the weight cut". It is a second straight loss for him, after the first of his professional career.
How did the Toulouse fighters do?
Badly. All five Toulouse fighters billed on the main card lose.
After Sipra, Mahamadou Soukouna drops the co-main event to Elie Caille by split decision. Axel Alfandari is submitted in the second round by Slovakia's Tomas Galko, 18, Morgan Thong is stopped by Ugo-Antton Vidal, and Alison Canot folds after a minute to a body kick from Morgane Dehaye.
Toulouse's smile came in the prelims: Quentin Arola finishes Azevedo Junior with ground-and-pound in under two minutes.
