The articles published on sport-minute.com are written by the site's editorial team and protected by copyright. Reproducing one in full requires permission; short quotations are free to use, provided the site is named and the original article linked.
The photographs are not owned by the site: each one carries, below the image, the name of its author and its licence. A rights holder who spots an incorrect attribution, or wants an image taken down, can report it through the contact form; the request will be handled promptly.
Competition, club and organisation names are the property of their respective owners and are used for information only.
Personal data
The site requires no sign-up, shows no advertising and loads no third-party tracker without the reader's consent: there is no ad network and no external analytics. One outside item can appear, a post published on X, and only if the reader asks for it with a click. No data is passed on to anyone, nor sold.
Four processing operations only:
- Visit counting. A visitor's IP address is never kept as such: it is immediately turned into a fingerprint using a secret key held by the server, and only that fingerprint is written down. Without the key, it does not lead back to the address. The 200 most recent fingerprints are retained, long enough to know how many people are reading the site at a given moment, along with per-day and per-month page-view counters that relate to no one in particular.
- Contact form. The name, email address and message entered are used to reply, and for nothing else. They land in a mailbox and are kept for as long as the exchange lasts.
- X posts shown on request. Some articles quote a post published on X. It does not load on its own: until the reader clicks, nothing is requested from X, which knows nothing of the visit. The click is the consent for that one display: X then receives the IP address and the page being read, and may read or set its own cookies in the browser. X acts on its own behalf, not for the site; what it does with the data falls under its privacy policy, and that data goes to the United States. Nothing is kept on this side: the choice covers that display only and is asked again on the next visit, so there is nothing to withdraw. Declining costs only the formatting, as the quotation and the link to the post stay on the page.
- Server logs. Independently of the site, the host records every request with the full IP address. Article 6 II of the French law on confidence in the digital economy requires these connection records to be kept for one year; they serve only to answer a judicial request.
The site sets no cookie on its public pages; the only ones that can appear are X's, on a post the reader has asked to display. The light or dark theme choice is stored in the browser (localStorage), stays on the reader's device and is never sent to the server.
Under regulation (EU) 2016/679, anyone has a right of access, rectification and erasure, exercised through the contact form. A complaint may be lodged with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
