Who fights in the main event?

Umar Nurmagomedov and Song Yadong both sit near the top of the bantamweight division, and neither is fighting for nothing here: the winner moves closer to a title shot.

Khabib Nurmagomedov's cousin comes to Shanghai with 20 wins and 1 loss: his only defeat came on 18 January 2025 against Merab Dvalishvili, in a championship fight lost on the scorecards after five rounds. Song Yadong, for his part, fights at home.

What else is worth watching on this card?

In the co-main event, at women's strawweight, Yan Xiaonan also fights in front of her home crowd, against Brazil's Denise Gomes. The first Chinese woman to fight in the UFC, she has already contested a title fight.

The main card also lines up Aoriqileng vs Kai Asakura at bantamweight, Alex Perez vs Sumudaerji and Bilal Hasan vs Nilson Rojas at flyweight, and Liu Ce vs Levi Rodrigues Jr at light heavyweight. Twelve more bouts fill out the night beneath the main event.

Where to watch the UFC in France?

RMC Sport, the UFC's exclusive French broadcaster, is showing the card free to air on RMC Sport Combat's Twitch and YouTube channels. The time difference works in European viewers' favour: prelims start at 9am Paris time and the main card at 12pm, making this a UFC afternoon rather than an all-nighter.
