The UFC was at the Accor Arena on Saturday 5 September 2026, and the night went the way of the home fighters: five wins from the eight French entrants, and a main event wrapped up in one round. In his very first fight in the promotion, Salahdine Parnasse stops New Zealand's Dan Hooker in front of his own crowd.
Who won the main event?
Salahdine Parnasse wins by first-round TKO at lightweight. The Frenchman goes to the body, hurts Hooker and finishes on the ground straight after: under three minutes were enough for a debut taken at the top of the bill. He leaves with a $100,000 performance bonus.

How did the French fighters do?
Five wins and three losses. Alongside Parnasse, Axel Sola knocks out Fares Ziam in 1:40 in the all-French co-main event, and picks up a $100,000 bonus of his own. Delphine Benouaich submits Sofia Montenegro by rear-naked choke in the second round, Matthieu Letho Duclos stops Luis Felipe Dias by first-round knockout, and Nora Cornolle outpoints Klaudia Sygula by unanimous decision, 30-27 on all three cards.
The three losses go to Ziam, to Morgan Charriere, beaten by unanimous decision by Felipe Lima, and to Oumar Sy, stopped by Modestas Bukauskas in the second round.
Who is Salahdine Parnasse?
Debuting in the UFC straight into a main event is rare. Parnasse came in with a record of 23 wins and 2 losses and a past that explained the billing: he came up through the French circuit, then signed with Poland's KSW, where he became a two-division champion, at featherweight and then at lightweight.
The detail Paris enjoyed: he took his 100% Fight title from Morgan Charriere — who also fought that night, on the prelims.
Across from him, Dan Hooker brought the division's experience: the New Zealander has spent years among the UFC's ranked lightweights.
What else stood out on the card?
Michael "Venom" Page beats Nursulton Ruziboev by unanimous decision at middleweight, and Daniil Donchenko does the same to Punahele Soriano at welterweight. Kurtis Campbell submits Trevor Peek by rear-naked choke in the third round. The night's two other bonuses go to Losene Keita, who knocks out Muhammad Naimov in the first round, and to Mario Pinto, who stops Ryan Spann in the second.
